How Wellness Transformed My Life

From hurt to healing.
Not long ago, I was living in a fog of depression, anger, and trauma. A relationship I poured into left me depleted; financially, emotionally, and spiritually. I was angry at myself, angry at life, and unsure of how to move forward. I was surviving, but not living.
At the same time, my body was showing me signs I couldn’t ignore. After five years of running my own marketing agency, the stress had built up in ways I hadn’t fully acknowledged. My stomach grew sensitive, my energy was fragile, and I could feel that the weight of everything I was carrying was no longer just mental, it was physical.

The Pause
One day, I realized I couldn’t keep pushing forward the way I had been. I needed to pause. And in that pause, a question emerged: What does wellness really look like for me? At first, I didn’t know the answer. It wasn’t instant or glamorous. It showed up in small ways like cooking in the kitchen freely to remind myself I could start fresh, taking a mindful breath in the morning before responding to emails, and slowly beginning to host Mindful Orange sessions that allowed me to heal in community.
The Transformation
Those small practices became lifelines from pulling an affirmation card for me or a friend, restarting my garden that was before neglected, and cooking meals that nourished me and fueled creative joy inside. Slowly, the weight lifted. My body softened. I began to feel clarity again. I found balance I hadn’t known before. I started to create, not from a place of pain, but from a place of peace. Wellness transformed my life. It didn’t erase my hurt, but it gave me the tools to move through it with grace. It turned my pain into a pathway toward healing, and ultimately toward my purpose.
Why Creators + Company Was Born
This journey re-birthed Creators + Company a safe space where creatives and entrepreneurs don’t have to choose between work, creativity and wellbeing. It’s built on the belief that your lifestyle flourishes best when you’re cared for, nourished, and rooted in harmony.
The Ritual That Held Me
One of the most grounding practices I held onto was my Golden Lemon Ginger Turmeric Shot. It’s a simple ritual, but it carried so much meaning. Each sip was a reminder: I deserve care. I can reset. I am not my past. And writing affirmations anywhere I can in my house like my mirror and training my brain to positively move forward and restore the childhood love inside of me. 👉 Discover the full recipe + ritual here
I share this story because I know I’m not the only one who has felt broken, tired, or unsure of how to move forward. If you are in that space, know this: your healing doesn’t have to be dramatic. Sometimes, it starts with the smallest act of care. And one layer at a time, you’ll find your way back to yourself.
